Kyriakos Theocharous studied Fine Arts with a concentration in printmaking, at the Aristotle University’s School of Visual and Applied Arts (2008-2015), taught by M. Yiannadak is. He currently pursues further studies in History and Theory of Art at the Technological University of Cyprus, expected to graduate in 2016.
He has received the second prize at the International Art Exchange Exhibition in Japan. In 2015 he presented his first solo exhibition in Thessaloniki.
He has volunteered to work in printmaking workshops for children, where he taught printmaking and painting at the children’s department of Ano Polis Public Library (2013-2014).
In spite of his young age, Theocharous has participated in several group exhibitions shown in galleries and museums in Greece, Cyprus and abroad.
He is a member of “Cypriot Printmakers”, working with the team for the organization of exhibitions, events and printmaking workshops.
